Do you want the proven benefits of a nonmonogamous relationship? Do you have more to give than socially enforced monogamy permits? Are you tired of hiding or holding back on connections with people you might be attracted to? Could you use more love, closeness, companionship, and support? Maybe you need more (or different kinds of) intimacy than one person can give. Does relying on one person for all your emotional, companionship, intimacy and social needs - for over 50 years - sound exciting - or unrealistic?
I can help you have the relationship you want! Let's see where I can be of most help - start with the quiz!
I'm dedicated to the emotional and relationship wellness of every person with whom I interact. I began helping people pursue nonmonogamy and polyamory over 20 years ago.
I've taught what I've learned and how to apply it at 13 major psychology and therapy conferences. My nonmonogamy research appears in top-ranked scientific journals. Professionals and lay folks alike give my book, Love That Works: 38 Awesome Hacks for Amazing Relationships, glowing reviews.
Now, you can take direct advantage of my knowledge and skill through individual coaching and online courses.
Coaching works. It’s a valid option with or instead of traditional therapy. Don’t listen to “internet experts” who talk about bad polyamory coaching experiences. Maybe they got lucky with their traditional therapist. But research shows many mental health professionals don’t “get” polyamory or nonmonogamy. Coaching from knowledgeable professionals can get you further faster. Unlike therapy, coaching is present-centered and forward-looking. It’s guided by your goals, not a textbook “diagnosis.”
Coaching is about your future. It's about the day-in, day-out support you need to achieve your goals.
Relationship coaching is a subset of life coaching. It focuses on helping you have the relationship you want. Nonmonogamy coaching goes beyond that. I guide you on the specifics of living in any form of open relationship.
As your coach, I'm always in your corner. My role is to take everything I've learned over 20+ years and put it to work for you. Attaining your goals. Overcoming your obstacles. Manifesting your desired outcomes.
Even highly-paid professionals employ coaches to help them achieve top performance. You can, too.
Coaching is for those who realize they can't achieve their goals without support (this is almost everybody). You can scroll blogs and Facebook groups. You can watch YouTube videos until your vision blurs. None of it is tailored to your personal situation.
If you're ready to put in the work with a supportive and knowledgable guide at your side - coaching is for you.
If you're committed to taking focused action to have the open relationship you want - coaching is for you.
If you're feeling frustrated and isolated, and don't see any path to success - coaching is for you.
First, I help you clarify your goals.
Then, working shoulder-to-shoulder, we examine what's getting in your way. Together, we develop a plan to overcome those obstacles.
As we progress, we'll look at what's working and what's not. We'll adjust tactics and approaches. We may reconsider specific goals. At each step, you'll learn and apply the right skills for success.
I'm with you for every step of your journey. You'll benefit from my knowledge and experience. I work as a mentor, guide, confidant and advocate.
